Natural Causes Education
All four members of Natural Causes lead education workshops and have similar and complementary skills for working with a range of different ages and abilities.
<p>Ben works with More Music in Morecambe on a range of educational outreach projects including in Hong Kong in March ’09 on a project entitled The Long Walk – www.thelongwalk.info. Chris is working in London for The Spitalfields Festival as a trainee in their outreach team – www.spitalfieldsfestival.com. Hugh returned from leading a series of education and performance projects in Japan recently – www.myspace.com/nankivell.
Natural Causes have led a range of different workshops including creating new pieces and arrangements of NC tunes with the Honley High School Big Band for the Marsden Jazz Festival (Oct ’08), with an adult community group for Lancaster Jazz Festival (Sept ’07)and with Year 10 & 11 students at Coombeshead College (Newton Abbot). In addition, we’ve worked with students on a film score at Dartington College (Feb ’09).
